Cat certificate FAQs

Is this a real cat registration certificate?

It is a personalised keepsake, with a made-up SCT registration number and a thoroughly unofficial official seal. It is not proof of ownership, pedigree, microchipping or legal registration.

Is this a free printable cat certificate?

Yes. Make, print and download as many certificates as you like. No account, email address or payment is required.

Does my cat photo get uploaded?

No. Your cat photo never leaves your device. The photo and certificate details are processed only in your browser and are not saved by this tool. Refreshing or closing the page clears them.

How do I print or save my certificate?

Print certificate opens your browser's print dialog with only the certificate, sized for A4 portrait. You can print it on paper or choose Save as PDF there. If you use Letter paper, choose Fit to page. Download image saves a high-resolution PNG that you can send to friends or print later.

Can I make a personalized cat certificate without a photo?

Yes. Only your cat's name is required. Keep the silly cat with eyes, pick a black or white cat face outline, or choose the cheerful kitten. Empty nickname, human and date fields are left off the certificate.

How do I change or turn off the sound?

Use the sound toggle at the top right of the page to switch the celebration sound on or off.
