What makes CatXP different?
CatXP is not trying to be a deep idle economy. It is a short, stupid, fast browser game where the reward is the cat itself. Each evolution is a new mood, a new vibe and maybe a new judgement of your life choices. If you want a tiny game that feels like it has a personality, you are in the right place.
How evolutions and the collection work
Every time you level up, a new cat evolution unlocks and is added to the collection panel. Think of the collection as your trophy shelf. It is there to make progress visible and to give you a reason to keep going. If your game has little surprises or rare events, the collection is where that stuff becomes real.
Zoomies and chaos moments
Sometimes the game kicks into a chaos moment. The cat does something silly and the pace changes for a bit. These moments exist for one reason: to break the loop so it does not feel like a spreadsheet with a cat on top. If you want more of this, you can tune the frequency as levels increase.
Progress saving
CatXP stores progress locally in your browser so you can come back later. If you clear site data or switch browser or device, your XP and collection may reset.
